During the development of the Canvas Home Basics line, we worked with interior designers around the world. It was our goal to learn how they do what they do and what they needed to make their job easier. We were amazed to find out how few options there were for good quality storage and organization. We set out to create a collection of totes that work well together but each stand on their own. It was important for us to pay attention to the details by adding unique buckles, padded should straps, inside storage pockets, extensive detailed stitching, lining, and detailed accents.
The Designer’s Carryall Tote
This tote was designed to provide a place to keep the details of the home project together and portable. Large enough to hold a Three-Ring Binder, sample books and a memo pad, with special pockets designed to keep things in order including a vinyl lined pencil and marker holder, slots that separate contents, a spot for keys and mobile phone. Its expandable design even makes room for your laptop.
The Designer’s Business Card Holder
The perfect coordinating piece to the Designer’s Carryall Tote the Business Card Holder. Created with the same quality and design it will hold up to 50 business cards and provides space to hold the cards exchanged until they can be filed in a permanent spot.
The Marker & Pencil Binder
Room Kits Color is an important part of nearly every interior design project and color is created often with markers and pencils. The traditional marker of choice for designers are layout and brush markers, but the options have expanded so in the additional of color to any project. This expandable binder houses 24 large markers or 48 small markers or pencils. We literally found designers who stored their makers in clear Zip Lock bags. Now they have a professional choice in storage.
The Designer’s Large Tool Tote
Now a tool tote with great design, organization and quality. Perfect for keeping together the basic tools and supplies of any home project and portable so it goes where you need it to go or for around the house. Designed with a series of small pockets, slots for tools and a larger inside pocket for oversized items. The top opens and holds its shape allowing you to find what you need when you need it.
Designer’s Sample Duffle on Wheels
Samples are a big part of any design project from larger binders of fabric to actual samples of brick and title. This tote was designed to keep larger samples organized and on wheels for easy of movement. Created with a high quality bearing system, the wheels perform like top quality luggage. As with all of our totes, there are smaller pockets on the inside allowing smaller items to stay organized and undamaged. Wheel the tote or unitize the padded shoulder strap for ease of carrying.
Designer’s Large Portfolio
Traveling with large design boards, artwork, photography and sample boards can be tuff. This portfolio bag was designed to hold 16”x20” boards with ease. The bag is 5” deep and will hold 5-8 boards depending on their dimension. For ease of carrying we added a padded shoulder strap. Again with inside compartments that house smaller items allowing for a binder, folder and other paper work that might accompany the contents.
